If you want a major that:
- combines law, philosophy and history
- that sets up students for a legal career
- that explores different perspectives and contexts a well-rounded professional needs

check our our B.A. in Law, Philosophy, and History program.

"Studying LPH is an ideal pathway to a career in law, but it is more than that. It is empowering and can be life changing," says Joshua Kassner, J.D. '97, program director. "Through the law you can advocate for people and positions, pursuing the common good and advancing justice. You can literally change the lives of the people and communities you serve."

DOUBLE STUDENT STORY 💙

Long before they accepted student jobs in the Office of Admission, long before they enrolled at The University of Baltimore, long before their families moved to Maryland, Deshanae Clarke and Rihanna Graham were two students at the same high school in Jamaica.

Neither knew they would reconnect in the same major at the same university at the same time nearly 1,500 miles from their first home.

Now both first-time undergraduates are pursuing a B.A. in Policy, Politics and International Affairs with a dream to someday go to law school.

Both Deshanae and Rihanna try to frequent as many campus events as they can fit in their busy schedules and are members of the Student Government Association, International Student Association and Mock Trial.
