Are you a Maryland Institute College of Art undergrad or grad student interested in breaking out of the MICA bubble and learning human-centered design?

Practice-Based Studio courses at the Center for Social Design bring MICA students from across disciplines together to work on a social challenge in Baltimore in collaboration with an outside partner. Past partners have included the Baltimore City Health Department, Maryland Department of Transportation, and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and topics have ranged from access to fresh food to reimagining the HIV testing process.
