If you’re already working in GIS, is going back to school for a master’s really worth it?

Meghan Arnold wasn’t necessarily planning on graduate school. But after learning more about UMBC’s Geographic Information Systems master’s program, she began to see how closely the coursework connected to the work she was already doing.
Now, she’s applying what she learns in class directly to her role in local government, building new skills and thinking about what’s next in her GIS career.
