The MISSION of ASU shall be to:
Unite students from all various African countries and all those concerned with its welfare; cultivate, foster, and, encourage a strong African base on campus; work as a unified body to build relationships on campus through other student organizations, Universities and the community; represent the concerns of African students in matters that affect them at Universit
y of Baltimore; promote the welfare of all Africans at the University of Baltimore; discuss & offer solutions on the issues affecting the African continent; render humanitarian assistance to new/incoming African students at UB; coordinate efforts with other University clubs, and offices, including the International Student Association (ISA), the International and Multicultural Student Services Center (IMSS), and the Office of Graduate and International Admission and Enrollment. AND; draw attention and arouse interest to the rich African traditions and culture.
