Retriever Essentials and Wisdom Institute (UMBC retirees) are collaborating on a campus-wide coat and winter clothing drive (adults, clean, and in good shape) on Friday, October 16, from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.

Retriever Essentials just celebrated its 10th anniversary, and it has grown from trunks of cars to closets, then bigger closets, to the great site it has now in the Commons. Let's help them continue growing and helping others!

Congrats to Dr. Padmanabhan's lab and grad student, Ayo Ogunsanya, who lead the work!

"UMBC research team discovers promising molecular target for ovarian cancer treatment"-A new article by UMBC's Sarah Hansen.

Ovarian cancer is often diagnosed after it has already spread to other parts of the body, at which point the five-year survival rate is under 30 percent.
