The Student Government Association of the University of Baltimore is the official voice of all UB students. The Senate is comprised of undergraduates, graduates from each of the four schools. The executive board is comprised of the president, executive vice president, and VP's with specialized roles in different areas of campus life. The student government representatives work alongside the univer

sity leadership, faculty, and staff to shape the future of UB. As a member of the University System of Maryland, UB's SGA participates in statewide student lead initiatives working with other student governments to continually improve higher education for our state.

Voting for the SGA election has been extended to 12pm on May 1 due to some technical issues with viewing the ballots. If you haven't already voted for your preferred candidates, you now have your chance to through the MyUB Portal.

UBalt Student Government Association is happy to announce that we will be hosting a raffle drawing from April 7 to 11.

Tables will be set up across campus, where students can choose to leave their name and email with SGA members if they want to participate. Anyone who joins the raffle has a chance to win an iHome or an iPad. If you wish to learn more about this event, visit UBalt's CampusGroups.

The University of Baltimore is proud to announce that a “supersized” centennial edition of Rock the Block, its annual spring tradition, is coming up! This event will take place on Saturday, April 12, to celebrate UBalt's proud past and bright future. The UBalt Student Government Association is thrilled to announce that our gym at The University of Baltimore will be operating under new hours to better fulfill the needs of our student community! The gym is located on the 3rd floor of the south section of the Academic Center and you must have a Bee Card to enter.

Your voice to extend the gym hours did not go unnoticed, and we are very excited about this new change. This will allow more students to get the most out of their fitness journey! We look forward to inviting you to the gym during these extended hours!

Thanks to the hard work and advocacy from members of the UBalt Student Government Association, vending machines have been added to the Student Center! Both snacks and drinks are available for students to enjoy. They can be found outside of the Game Rooms and the CSEI offices.

The 2025 USM BOR Student Excellence Scholarship is open! Both undergrad and grad students can nominate themselves for a $2,000 scholarship. This is a great opportunity for students to be recognized and rewarded for their achievements, so all are encouraged to apply.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the comedy show originally scheduled for today has been postponed. It will be rescheduled for Spring Semester—stay tuned for updates!

In the meantime, join us for an SEB Hangout tonight at 8 PM in the BOGO Room (5th Floor, Student Center). We’ll have food, games, and fun activities waiting for you. Don’t miss out!

With the semester quickly coming to a close, the tutor services are once again hosting their Final Finish event! The goal is to provide support for students as they complete their final projects and term papers. This event will last from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm on December 3rd, at the RLB Library. There will be snacks and games provided if you just need to take a break too!

Note, that students WILL need their student IDs to gain access to the library after hours.

Writing tutors, subject tutors, and even librarians will all be available during those times to try and help students. While students can make an appointment, this event welcomes walk-ins as well. Don't hesitate to come to the library if you need help!
