The Janet & Walter Sondheim Art Prize is presented by Create Baltimore in partnership with the Walters Art Museum and supported by the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC).

The Janet & Walter Sondheim Art Prize Finalists Exhibition is on view at The Walters Art Museum through September 13.

As part of its Bicentennial Celebration, MICA brings together, for the first time, the work of 29 women artists connected through The McMillan-Stewart Endowed Chair in Painting.

DEVOTED: 20 Years of The McMillan-Stewart Endowed Chair in Painting opens August 28 in the Decker Gallery (Fox Building), featuring a diverse and intergenerational roster including Saya Woolfalk, Jane Dickson, and Amy Sherald '04.

Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, September 10, from 5 to 7 pm. The exhibition runs through October 11 and is free and open to the public.

ICYMI: MICA’s graphic design department, teamed up with McCormick to put our own stamp on a Maryland staple!
