🏠✨ Creativity, Design, and Attention to Detail in Action!

Our students continue to impress with their innovative interior design projects, transforming everyday materials into beautifully crafted miniature living spaces. From cozy reading nooks and stylish bedrooms to thoughtfully designed living rooms, these projects showcase creativity, problem-solving, spatial awareness, and design principles in action.

Assignments like these allow students to apply classroom concepts while developing hands-on skills that are essential in Family and Consumer Sciences. It’s always rewarding to see ideas come to life through imagination, craftsmanship, and dedication.

Our students had the opportunity to engage with several community-based employers. It was a productive and positive experience that provided students with valuable insights into their future .

Following the student engagement, faculty and employers enjoyed fellowship over food and conversation. The time together was truly meaningful as we discussed ways to better prepare our students for career success.

Special thanks to Leslie and Najma for your dedication and for facilitating such a worthwhile event. I truly appreciate the time and effort you invested in planning and coordinating this experience. We look forward to an even greater event next year!
