Notre Dame of Maryland University STEM Program This program is designed to prepare teachers in Grades K-8 for a certificate or Masters degree

Teachers who know the content and the processes of science are better prepared to model scientific thinking. Teachers who know content and the modes of mathematical thinking are better able to manage and monitor student learning. Teachers who know the content and processes of STEM integration are better prepared to apply principles of science and mathematics to real-world challenges. The goal of t

his program is to produce confident teachers who have the knowledge and instructional tools necessary to facilitate meaningful, integrated learning for all students.
