We are very excited to announce that our Master's in and Advisory Services Program (Joint with Towson University) has received designation from Higher Commission. The University of Baltimore is pleased to announce that we've updated our M.S. in Business-Finance degree to emphasize the use of technology in the financial services industry.

"Recognizing this emerging trend in FinTech, the faculty have developed a forward-thinking curriculum that seamlessly integrates finance principles with a strong emphasis on technology. “In 1965, when I went to The University of Baltimore ... I went with a big chip on my shoulder. One teacher changed that—a woman named Ms. Norris who started a literary magazine here that year. She encouraged me to write something for it, and I did.

And here I am, 50 years later, eight books, 17 movies. This is the only school after grade school that I went to that actually claims me, and I am proud of that. ... All you need is one teacher, and I got that here."

Acclaimed film director, author and social critic John Waters received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters during The University of Baltimore's spring 2023 undergraduate commencement ceremony.
