Howdy y’all! My name is Madelyn Phillips, and I am honored to be the 2027 MSNS cohort’s president! I am originally from McComb, MS, and I graduated from LSU with my B.S. in nutrition pre-med this past May. My dream is to be a registered dietitian and dermatologist. My desire with this dream is to become a medical professional that treats, not just the symptoms, but the roots of my patients’ problems. As for my nutritional fields of interest, I have a deep love for community nutrition, especially food insecurity, and clinical acute care. I am also hoping to expand my knowledge of women’s health and bariatric nutrition during my internship. I am so excited to see what the next year and a half has in store for my classmates and me as we continue our journeys to be coming RDNs!
I’m the MSNS cohort Vice president, hailing from Houma Louisiana with a goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian and working with collegiate athletes.
Greetings everyone,
My name is Razzmin Lofton. I am a proud native of Louisiana. Currently, I serve as the secretary for the 2027 MSNS cohort. One of the reasons I chose to become a registered dietitian is to help others find a balance between enjoying life’s small pleasures, like savoring a slice of cake at a wedding, and learning how to fuel their bodies according to their nutritional needs. While this may present challenges, I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing them.
Hello!
My name is Madi Dressler, I will be serving as the cohort historian for the 2026-2027 class. I am a huge lover of science and recently graduated from ULL with a bachelors in Biology and Chemistry. I love learning about human anatomy and physiology- especially the digestive system- which led me down this path! I love cooking and baking and finding new ways to make food more suitable to those with inflammatory conditions. I look forward to learning more about the many disciplines that nutrition holds and hope to work with patients with chronic diseases to help aid in their symptoms and quality of life through nutrition.
