10 YEARS OF FRANU!
October marks 10 years since Our Lady of the Lake College became Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, and what a decade it has been!
The name change marked an exciting new chapter. As graduate education grew and more graduate students joined the campus community, the college was becoming more of a University.
Today, FranU offers seven graduate programs, including the Master of Health Administration, Physician Assistant Master’s Degree, Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences, Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis, Doctor of Nursing Practice – Nurse Anesthesia and Doctor of Physical Therapy.
We’ve celebrated big milestones along the way, too. In 2023, we celebrated 100 years of Franciscan education, honoring a century of forming students to serve their communities.
And our campus has grown right along with us. St. Francis Hall now stands at the heart of campus as a central hub for learning, gathering and community. It’s home to classrooms, events, student spaces and SETH, our simulated environment teaching hospital where students can put their knowledge into practice in realistic healthcare settings.
Ten years. New programs. New spaces. Big milestones. Countless memories.
And it’s all because of the students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends who have made FranU what it is today.
