Families with children ages 0-5 can sign up for a free book each month. To learn more, visit https://imaginationlibrary.com.

Celebrate Banned Books Week with us starting today through Saturday, October 10th!

Banned Books Week is an annual celebration that brings attention to, and confronts, book censorship. Since 1982, librarians, educators, authors, and booklovers from all over the world have curled up with a book that's been challenged or banned.

Enjoy one right from our shelves, try it out as an eBook or audiobook, or watch a film adaptation from our DVD and Blu-Ray collection today! 📖

July is Disability Pride Month

Disability Pride Month celebrates disability as a natural part of human diversity while recognizing the contributions, experiences, and achievements of people with disabilities. July also marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), signed into law on July 26, 1990.

Stop by the Morris Library to explore our Disability Pride Month displays, featuring books on disability history, advocacy, accessibility, neurodiversity, mental health, memoirs, and more.

This year's theme, "The World Works Better With Us," reminds us that our communities are stronger when everyone is included.

📚 We invite you to browse the displays and check out a book.

🌈 Pride Month at Morris Library

This year’s Pride Month displays explore the theme Hidden Histories. Authentic Voices.

Throughout the library, you'll find books, memoirs, poetry, art, history, and biographies that highlight the lives and contributions of LGBTQ+ writers, artists, activists, and changemakers.

Pictured here is one of several featured displays highlighting writer and commentator Andrew Sullivan, paired with his memoir Virtually Normal.

From personal memoirs and rediscovered histories to contemporary voices and cultural leaders, these displays invite readers to explore stories that inform, inspire, and connect us.

📚 Stop by Morris Library throughout June to explore the full exhibit.
