Congratulations to Mr. Tony Dennis on his retirement and for his incredible career at WMU Aviation!

Joining us in 1993, Tony served as Assistant Director of Admissions, Director of Aviation Student Services, and Director of Graduate Student Recruitment and Retention. During his tenure at the College of Aviation, he helped establish our foundational alliance with OBAP, helped our program become a premier destination, and expanded impactful diversity scholarships.

Thank you, Tony, for your dedication and the lasting impact you've made on our students and for the flight program! ✈️

Western's all-female team of pilots finished 10th in the 2026 Air Race Classic, Inc.! ✈️ 💛

Competing against 22 collegiate teams, Ava Anderson, Caroline Yuska, Evelyn Passejna, Lorelai Jousma and Josey Campbell proved that hard work and dedication pay off. This marks 's 22nd appearance in the Air Race Classic since 2000!

“This has been a life-changing experience, getting to know the team and supporting one another throughout this year through so many personal and training milestones and having also learned countless real life skills during fundraising and representation of the team,” says junior Evelyn Passejna.

While on a boat tour in Nuuk, Aviation Bronco alumni: Kurt Kraczon and Caroline Yuska found another alumnus Joey Gerardi!

Kraczon is currently with United Airport Ops and Gerardi is a redcoat at Delta Air Lines. Yuska is currently starting her CFI journey.
