TCL President Dr. Laurie Boeding recently visited with General Art Brown, a longtime Lowcountry leader and champion of the Technical College of the Lowcountry.

At 97, General Brown's service and commitment to TCL continue to inspire us. It was an opportunity for Dr. Boeding to thank him personally and spend time with a man who has meant so much to the college.

TCL is proud to honor his extraordinary service by naming our new Arthur E. Brown Regional Workforce Training Center in his honor.

This Wednesday, Shelby Holstein will be sharing valuable information about Military and Veteran Education Resources and Benefits (MAVRC) and the support available to our military-connected students. Come grab a slice, meet fellow students, connect with campus resources, and learn about the services available to help you succeed at TCL!

College Services - Friday, August 28

Most college offices will be closed Friday, August 28, while faculty and staff participate in Convocation.

Limited services will be available at the New River Campus and at the HUB on the Beaufort Mather Campus. Please expect possible wait times and delays in response.

Some scheduled instructional activities will continue. Students should follow the schedule and instructions provided by their faculty or program.

Normal college services will resume Monday, August 31.

What a successful Deep Dive Resource Event!

This week, TCL students dove in and discovered the many resources available to help them succeed! Students showed up across campus, connected with departments and services, asked great questions, and learned how TCL resources can support them throughout their academic journey.

Building a Stronger Lowcountry

TCL President Dr. Laurie Boeding recently met with State Senator Tom Davis to discuss Technical College of the Lowcountry, the workforce needs of our region, and the opportunities ahead.

Senator Davis has been a strong advocate for the Lowcountry and a dedicated supporter of TCL and investments that expand education, workforce development, and opportunity across our communities.
