💙🍎📚Celebrating Dr. Lori Threats

Planting Seeds. Nurturing Growth. Inspiring Success.

This National Principals Month, we proudly celebrate our Soror, Dr. Lori Threats, Principal of the Career and Technical Education Center, whose commitment to education and student success continues to make a difference!

With 28 years in the field of education and currently in her fourth year as a principal, Dr. Threats exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose, intentionality, and a heart for service.

For Dr. Threats, leadership is about more than being in charge. It’s about planting seeds of possibility in students, teachers, and the school community - and nurturing those seeds until they grow into opportunities, confidence, and success. Whether she’s helping a student discover a career path, encouraging a teacher to recognize their potential, or opening doors that can change the trajectory of a Crusader’s life, she understands that the work done today can positively impact someone’s tomorrow.

Her approach to leadership reminds us that sometimes the greatest impact comes from removing barriers, creating opportunities, and simply reminding others of what is possible. And the most rewarding part? Watching those seeds take root! 🌱

Beyond her dedication to education, Dr. Threats has also been a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, since 2003, continuing a legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to uplifting others.

Today, we recognize Dr. Threats for her years of service, her dedication to shaping future generations, and the difference she makes each and every day. Thank you for planting seeds that will continue to grow long after the lesson ends!

Happy National Principals Month, Dr. Lori Threats! 💙🤍

Mental Health is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to our strength and resilience. World Mental Health Day is our way of recognizing and understanding that caring for our mental health and emotional well-being is just as crucial as our physical health.

Today, be intentional about checking on your loved ones - including your friends.

There’s not a certain ‘look’ - Just be kind. Encourage open conversations. Lend a listening ear, offer a hug or give someone a word of support, as they may be struggling in silence.
If that someone is you - remember that you are never alone on this journey.

💚Sorors, how will you prioritize your mental wellness this month? We encourage you to share with us below.
