🌱 Anishinaabe Gives Back 🌱

💚Each year, Turtle Mountain College’s Anishinaabe Campus provides students with FREE fresh vegetables, grown right in their very own gardens!

💚Traditionally, this event is held at the Anishinaabe Campus, but this year, this amazing group went above and beyond by bringing the harvest directly to our students!

💚Together, they organized a table filled with nutritious options while also surveying students, staff, and faculty to learn how they can provide even more value to our campus community.

💚Throughout the year, the Anishinaabe Campus hosts a variety of events, including workshops, gardening opportunities, and farmers markets, all with the goal of providing access to fresh, delicious, and nutritious foods.

💚As we all know, fresh fruits and vegetables can be difficult to come by, and the cost of these essential foods can be extremely expensive. That’s why days like today are so important. They provide more than fresh produce; they create opportunities to learn, connect, and support the health and well-being of our community.

It’s time to look alive TMC students and put your spooky knowledge to the test! Grab your favorite witch's brew and join us for a bone-chilling Halloween Online Trivia Night! From classic horror flicks to eerie history, we’re covering it all. 🧠🕸️

📍 Where: Right from your couch!

Directions are as follows:
1. Sign into your one login
2. Click on Canvas
3. Go to IT 100- Student Orientation
4. On the left hand side, click on BigBlueButton
5. Select the conference named Halloween Trivia Night
*Once you are in the BigBlueButton Meeting, you will be asked to fill out a brief google form.
This form is to keep track of attendance and will allow me to contact the winners.

No tricks, just treats (and maybe some bragging rights). Play—if you dare! 🎃👇

TMC at CyberCon 2026 at Bismarck State College, where cybersecurity professionals, educators, and students are coming together to explore the latest advancements in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

Opportunities like CyberCon help connect what our students are learning in the classroom with what is happening across the industry.

We are proud to see our faculty, Ananth & Marlin, along with other instructors and students from the program representing Turtle Mountain College, building connections, and bringing new knowledge back to our campus.

🧡 September 30: A Day of Remembrance 🧡

Today, we honor and remember the Native children who were taken from their homes, families, languages, and cultures through the boarding school system.

For the people of the Turtle Mountains, this history is part of our own story. We honor those who survived, those who never made it home, and the families who continue to carry their stories.

Today, Turtle Mountain College helps keep our language and culture alive.

Through education, language, culture, and community, we continue the work of revitalizing what generations before us fought to protect.

Every student who learns the language, carries a teaching, shares a story, or passes that knowledge forward makes a difference.

We remember.

We honor.

And together, we keep our culture alive for the generations yet to come.
