Robotics. Taiwanese Student Association. Chess. Calisthenics. Women in Stem. Brazilian Student Association. Sewing & Textile Art. Girls Who Code. Anatomy. Accounting. ASL. Model U.N. Computer Science. D&D.... This is only a handful of the more than 100 student organizations active at any one time on campus!

Probably the easiest way to check these clubs out is to attend an Involvement Fair! Held the second week of each regular academic quarter (Fall through Spring), Involvement Fairs connect you to a whole host of student organizations and resources all in one place!

You can stop by between classes and browse what we'll have going! Until then, take a look at our (awesome!) Involve portal, which lists all our organizations and events coming up! Visit bellevuecollege.presence.io and if you're interested, you can download the Involve app to your phone. (Never know when you might want to take a look at the calendar!)

[text description: Lots of activity going on at about 80 different tables with people packed into the Ballroom, plus a parallel bars demonstration, chess playing, rockets and robots, spinning for prizes, students signing up to join clubs, more chess playing, lots of student leaders giving introductions, candy and handouts, free giveaways -- all matching the vibey up-beat music.]

Japan Week is coming soon!

Our student Ray filmed these scenes of the Nihon Matsuri held on Saturday during last year's Japan Week. Organized by the Japanese Culture Exchange Club, Japan Week offers many exciting ways to experience Japanese culture, traditions, language, and food. There are events during the week aimed at students and the matsuri on Saturday is open to the public (and usually has a huge attendance.) Enjoy a flea market, food trucks, kendama, taiko and origami workshops, workshops in folk dance, seminars on cultural experience, and go competitions, and you can watch as the mikoshi shrine is carried through campus.

Will you attend this year? Mark your calendar for Oct. 5 - 10.

[text description: Glimpses of many elements of the matsuri, from check in to flea market, kimono-clad volunteers, hello kitty mascot, kendama demonstration, Japanese folk dance, carrying the mikoshi through campus, people queueing up for food trucks, launching origami planes, people everywhere smiling and laughing and watching and participating both indoors and outdoors. Ray periodically exclaims "woo hoo!" and "yeah!".]

Hey Bulldogs! Fall Quarter is just around the corner! We'll kick off the first week with all sorts of Welcome Back activities, and in the second week we'll host the Involvement Fair!

The Involvement Fair is an opportunity to meet with leaders of our MANY student organizations and to learn more about what they do. We're pretty sure you'll find a connection you want to explore more! uTo see a listing of active clubs, visit our Involve portal at bellevuecollege.presence.io.

Looking forward to seeing you!

[text description: In Fall 2025, student leaders from several student orgs take a moment out of the Involvement Fair and introduce themselves and their mission while in the background there's a bustle of activity in the Ballroom as students mill around and chat with folks at the 50 or so tables arranged around the room.]

Wrapping up Summer Quarter with this inspiration: From the Transgender Day of Remembrance, featured guest Midori Monet shares the importance of Self Love. It's about loving ALL of who you are. Give a listen! Thank you to the Q***r and Trans Resource Center for hosting this annual event.

In case you needed a little fluffy cuteness in your feed we're flashing back to our Spring Petting Zoo! Our friends at Animal Encounters brought a bevy of furry and feathered visitors who were so chill and welcomed (gentle) attention. Life is so much better when you're eye to eye with a goat!

What's on tap for Fall Quarter? There'll be lots happening! You can check out our Involve page at bellevuecollege.presence.io and browse through events and activities! Student organization leaders who haven't been on campus during Summer Quarter will be able to access their dashboards soon!

Every winter our student government, ASGBC, takes a group of students to the Washington State Capitol in Olympia for Lobby Day. Students attend briefings and training sessions, tour the capitol, have photo opps, and gather together with their elected representatives to discuss issues important to them. It's your chance to meet face to face with the people you voted for to represent you at the state level and make your voice heard.

Will you attend a Lobby Day this coming year? Start by learning more about ASGBC and the things the team does at tinyurl.com/35k69p9t. Keep an eye out for an advertisement at the beginning of Winter Quarter!

These opportunities are FREE (travel is included), although it's always a good idea to remember to bring some extra snackie snacks even if lunch is included ...

Why do we do this? Your voice counts much more when you speak as a group, in unison! Use the power of your collective voice and make your voice count!

[text description: A full day starting at oh dark hundred with students bundled up and getting on the bus and zooming down I-5, having prep meetings and going through the reading materials in the legislative buildings, practicing speaking, talking with legislator staff (including the State Auditor), enjoying a photo opp on the steps of the capitol, visiting the Secretary of State's office, discussing policy with the Governor's office, and more photo opps before heading back home.]
