Brittnie Summers is the new president of our public health club! Here is a short bio. More information on the club coming soon!
Hey everyone, my name is Brittnie Summers and I am a current Bellevue College student. I was born and raised in WA before I moved and graduated high school in Indiana. When I decided that WA was and always will be my home I decided to make the trip back. Taking a few years off from school I found other activities that I was interested in. During the summer I did hair and makeup for my friends company as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym. While taking the time off was fun, I decided it was time to go back.I ended up finding my way to BC. Bellevue college seemed like a great fit for me as I am currently pursuing a dream to go to medical school. I will finish with my associates in the spring when I hope to apply to UW for my undergrad in Public-Global Health. Soon after I will apply to either UW School of Medicine or NYU. Both colleges have always been a dream of mine to attend. I am extremely passionate about helping not just those around me, but to be able to expand my knowledge in science and medicine to help those globally. I believe that by starting the Public Health Club here at Bellevue college will be the stepping stone I need to help further that passion.
