Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming U.S. Representative Kim Schrier and her team to campus for a tour of the Student Success Center and the Health Sciences T Building.
We enjoyed showing them some of the great work happening across campus, including how we remove barriers to entry through student support services at the Student Success Center and the hands-on lab and simulation experiences our health sciences and nursing students receive.
We’re grateful for the visit and look forward to more opportunities to showcase the amazing work happening on campus!

Earlier this week we had the honor of hosting the Startup World Cup - Seattle Regional Expo. and what an amazing day it was! As part of an international competition, Washington brought together the top local startups to present and compete for a chance to represent Seattle on the world stage where they will pitch for a $1M investment prize.

It was a great opportunity for Bellevue College students to attend and learn from the startup entrepreneurs and featured keynote speakers. Previous Startup World Cup winner and Bellevue College Chairperson/Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Pradnya Desh spoke and shared her expertise after going through this same experience years prior. Thank you, Pradnya, for sharing your time and knowledge with the Bellevue College students in attendance and our local startup community.
