First week to have JCC on Tuesday as well as Wednesday! Yesterday there were 2-3 Japanese volunteers for every 1 JCC member--now you see why we decided to do it two days a week. Come on out today at 4:00 pm in VU 464 and make the ratio better!!

Where are JCC members?! We have over a dozen new Japanese native speaker volunteers, but only a handful of JCC members!!! Come on over to the VU 464 if you're free!

JCC meets tomorrow Wed Feb 20 at 4:00 pm in VU 464. May Sasajima, Alissa Hino, Hiroe Kanazawa, and Mayumi and maybe Mariko and Michiko (community members)...there should still be at least one or two Japanese native speakers per table for tomorrow's JCC--so let's all meet as usual! We can be sad together about missing our AUAP friends!

Also, next Wednesday Feb. 27, JCC in VU 464 is cancelled. We'll all be at the Welcoming Ceremony for the 73 new AUAP students in the VU MPR from 4:00-5:00 pm.

JCC this week on Wednesday, Feb. 13, will be a solid 50 minutes of speaking intensively in Japanese...hopefully one on one...and rotating every few minutes so as to get to talk with as many Japanese volunteers as possible...it is our current group of AUAP students' last JCC. Also you are all invited to the mini debates event tomorrow. It's in English but will prove to be a fun time I'm sure.

JCC this week (Wednesday, Feb. 6) 4:00 - 5:00 pm VU 464...second to last gathering with our current group of AUAP students volunteering! Have a couple of ideas--talking about clothes or talking about money or does anyone have another topic idea? Also, all are welcome to the Talent Showcase Thursday evening 7-9 pm at the VU MPR! Also any takers for our Mini Debates in English with AUAP students next Tuesday from 11:00 - 12:30?
