NWIC's offices will be closed to the public starting at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, in preparation for NWIC's Commencement Ceremony, which begins at 1 p.m. at the Health & Wellness Center on Lummi campus.

NWIC will also be closed Friday, June 19, for holiday observance for Juneteenth.

The College will reopen during regular business hours on Monday, June 22.

Join the 2026 NWIC Kids' College adventure!!

Running Monday, June 22 - Friday, June 26, this one week program provides fun experiential learning for children ages 9-12.

Our instructors are excited to teach a variety of classes including: Cedar Weaving, Native Plants and Bird Identification, Canoeing, Archery, and Music (beat making, podcasting, rock band).

The Lummi Library at NWIC will be hosting break time activities, and taking Library Card registrations.

This is a perfect way to introduce your child to our campus and continue their love of learning!

Please email Gaby Salazar at [email protected] for your child's application. We have 20 spots available on a first come first serve basis. Once filled, parents will receive an Welcome Email detailing specifics.

Congratulations to NWIC Eagle Ivan Alejandre for finishing first in the Kwina Mile today!!

Ivan finished with a time of 5:29:53, and was both the fastest overall runner and the fastest adult men's runner. He was honored, along with other fastest runners, during a medal ceremony at the finish line.

We're so proud of you and of all the runners and walkers today! What a great day to be in community!

This is our LUCKY 7th Annual Finding Your Voice Through Music event featuring Mariah Dodd.

It's the end of the school year, let's celebrate! Lummi Campus will be hosting an End of the Year Bash. This event is brought to you by our NWIC Student Executive Board, Native Pride Music Club, and Student Connections.

When: Friday, June 12th 2026

Time: 3-5:30pm

Where: Outdoor Learning Pavilion, behind cafeteria/RLC

4-5: Native Pride Music Club presents the 7th Annual Finding Your Voice Through Music, Musical Guest Mariah Dodd will conduct a Lyric Writing Workshop accompanied by a performance. Afterwards an open mic, open to all! Bring your instrument, sing a karaoke song, recite a poem, perform a dance etc.
