This is bigger than a contract. It’s about priorities. Every dollar COCC receives should be managed responsibly and invested in the people and resources that directly support student success. Faculty are not asking for special treatment, we are asking to be fairly compensated for the work we do and the role we play in our students’ lives.

After 17 years at COCC, I still believe deeply in our students, my colleagues, and the mission of this college. What is disappointing is feeling that the institution we have devoted so much to is not showing the same commitment to the people who make its mission possible.

Ultimately, the people who stand to lose the most are our students. They deserve an institution that puts their education first, and that means investing in the faculty who are here every day doing the work.

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Central Oregon Community College Faculty Forum has declared an impasse in contract negotiations with Central Oregon Community College after nine months of talks in Bend. The union, an affiliate of the Oregon Education Association, stated that market adjustments to faculty co...

🎉🎉🎉This is a SURPRISE🎉🎉🎉

Bill McCabe will be honored at Police Weekend October 13-17th. Due to COVID this will be the first time Bill will be formally honored in DC.

Traditionally, notes and mementos are placed on the wall during this week to honor the fallen.

The criminal justice club has arranged to have this sign brought to DC and placed on the wall. Stop by COCC anytime between now and October 8th at 5pm to leave a note for the McCabe family. Sign is upstairs in Modoc in the social science reception area. 💙

Again, it is a surprise🎉🎉🎉
