Our Meet & Greet was a great success with an good turnout. I would like to thank all of the Brothers of Golden Eagle Lodge 392 for stepping up and making sure we had everything we needed to host a successful event.

I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to the Sisters of Golden Star Chapter 371 OES for helping clean the lodge and ensuring the food was well-prepared and ready for Saturday. Your support and dedication did not go unnoticed, and I truly could not have done it without you.

A special shout-out goes to District Deputy Terrell Mingo and Special Deputy Ballard, who traveled down from Lancaster to spend the day with us. We enjoyed their fellowship, and judging by their comments, they certainly enjoyed the food—and even wanted more!

I also want to recognize our Junior Warden, Brother Jermaine Brown, who served as our grill master and cooked up some excellent food for everyone to enjoy. Worthy Matron Sister Lisa Sellers made sure we had plenty of sides and desserts, along with Sis. Doris Hodge, whose contributions helped make the day even more special. Might I add, we had Brothers from Sawmill & Landmark in attendance.

Events like this remind me of what can be accomplished when we work together. Golden Eagle Lodge and Golden Star Chapter continue to move forward, and I am excited about what lies ahead.
Thank you all for your hard work, support, and commitment. We are moving up!

Last week, a few of us came together to work on a project painting the downstairs of our Lodge. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this cause. A special shoutout goes to these Brothers who dedicated two full days to working in and improving their Lodge.

We still have a few more things to complete, but the bulk of the work is now done. Your commitment, hard work, and willingness to serve are greatly appreciated.
Thank you all again, and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Fraternally.

The Community Center will be open as a warming station, January 24th – 26th, 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM. Another announcement will be made on Monday, 26th regarding the status of the community center for the remainder of the week.
