A special honor for Cochise College. City of Benson Mayor Joe A. Konrad presented the Key to the City in recognition of the college’s commitment to higher education, workforce development and community engagement. We’re proud to help open doors and create futures in Benson and across Cochise County.

“On behalf of the City of Benson, it is an honor to present the Key to the City to Cochise College, an institution that has opened doors for generations of students, families, employers and communities across Cochise County,” Mayor Joe A. Konrad said. “This key is more than a symbol of appreciation. It represents trust, partnership and gratitude, and reflects the deep respect Benson has for a college committed to creating futures and strengthening the communities it serves.”

Cochise College summer camps served 261 students through $20 hands-on career exploration in Sierra Vista and Douglas, thanks to local support.
