Dr. Leslie Hunter obtained his Ph.D. from Stony Brook University and is a trained scholar in 20th-century American theater and 20th-century Jewish American studies. One of his favorite plays is "Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play" and finds it "smart, unique, and moving". Thank you, Dr. Hunter!

Thank you to Sole Hall-Hamilton, Kayla Muro, Kristen Miller, and Kallie Polaski for volunteering at the Power of the Pen tournament! This event, sponsored by The Department of English and Creative Writing and School of Humanities, hosted over 500 middle school students, teachers, and parents. Dr. Garriga also taught a creative writing workshop and spoke at the closing ceremony. Way to go, Jackets! 🐝
