On this , we're celebrating recent BW graduate Ally Schmitt '26, whose internship with the City of Cleveland Department of Port Control at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) launched an incredible career. She was recently named the 2026 Ohio Aviation Association Student of the Year!

During her time at CLE, Ally helped bring passenger-focused programs like the Hopkins Hounds therapy dog program, Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard program, Hopkins Hangout Pass, and Hopkins Flight School to life, contributing to the airport's award-winning Hopkins Hospitality initiative.

Today, Ally is continuing her career with Jacobs Solutions, supporting the CLEvolution Terminal Modernization Program at Cleveland Hopkins. Her journey is a testament to the impact of hands-on learning and the opportunities that internships can create. 🐝
