Public Health Club hosted MetroHealth Office of Opioid Safety this past Wednesday for Naloxone training and education! Students from all over campus were invited to come and learn about the opioid epidemic locally and nationwide, and become trained in administering Narcan. Each student was given a Project DAWN naloxone kit to carry as a part of the training!

Faculty Spotlight: Abolfazl (Abe) Mollalo

Dr. Mollalo is an assistant professor here in the BW Public Health Depart, teaching GIS, spatial epidemiology, biostatistics, and data analytics. He received a PhD from the University of Florida in Spatial Epidemiology, and his research surrounds spatial and space-time analysis and modeling of major respiratory/vector-borne diseases in the US.
