Congratulations and thank you to Anissa Hagedorn for her dedicated service to our campus community through her work with the Berkeley Staff Assembly Programs & Events Committee! 🎉

Anissa helped create meaningful opportunities for staff connection and support across campus, including planning the Cookies and Caffeinate event, which served approximately 462 staff members. She also supported the Be Well at Work “Pass the Mic” series, which helped highlight and destigmatize essential support services available to our workforce. Together, these contributions played an important role in strengthening the staff experience and building a more connected campus community.

From supporting our UBPS campus partners to strengthening connections across our staff community, we’re grateful for all you do, Anissa! 💙💛

The Division of Finance is seeking a UC Berkeley student to support branding initiatives, develop communications materials, advance storytelling efforts, and contribute to engagement initiatives across the division — including work supporting University Business Partnerships & Services (UBPS) and its campus partnerships.

This is a great opportunity for students interested in marketing, communications, design, social media, and digital storytelling to gain hands-on experience, build their portfolio, and work on projects that connect the campus community.

How does UBPS invest in sustainability? 🌱
Through partnerships that support UC Berkeley’s sustainability goals, we’re helping reduce waste and promote responsible practices on campus.
Highlights include the ReUse Pepsi program to cut single-use plastics at Cal Athletics games
PepsiCo’s support of Cal Zero Waste
Sustainable graduation regalia initiatives with Herff Jones.
We’re excited to keep expanding these efforts as our campus community grows!
