A federal judge has struck down the U.S. Department of Education’s attempt to limit eligibility for the **Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)** program, protecting this critical benefit for professionals serving in qualifying nonprofit and public sector organizations.

This decision helps ensure that social workers who dedicate their careers to improving the lives of others can continue pursuing public service without losing access to the student loan forgiveness they were promised.
