According to new research from Alice Sardell and Lehigh University's Michael K. Gusmano, they all required more than a good idea. They required the right people, the right moment, and the right partnerships to make change possible.

Their new study takes a closer look at how major policy innovations came to life in New York City and what those lessons can teach us about creating healthier, stronger communities.

From Bethlehem to Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸

Luis Cáceres ’24, G’26 has been selected for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Health Postgraduate Fellowship, a nationally recognized program preparing future leaders in public health policy.

Through the fellowship, Luis will gain hands-on experience on Capitol Hill while exploring solutions to some of today’s most pressing healthcare challenges.

We look forward to seeing the impact he will make in Washington, D.C. and beyond.

Good news! The application deadline for Lehigh University’s Master of Public Health program has been extended until July 31 and application fees are now waived.

Lehigh’s MPH program prepares students to lead community health initiatives, shape public policy, and address global health challenges through hands-on experience and data-driven approaches to improving population health outcomes.
