MARCH MANIA AND GIVING DAY starts TODAY!

🔥 Help Us Strike While the Iron is Hot! 🔥

This March Mania, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering is turning up the heat! ⚒️

We are thrilled to give you a sneak peek at our brand-new Blacksmithing Lab. This space isn't just about hammers and anvils; it’s a hands-on arena where our students bridge the gap between ancient craftsmanship and modern materials science.

🏗️ Current Project Status: The Final Push
The walls are up, the anvils are in place, but we need your help to cross the finish line. To open the doors for student projects next semester, we are raising funds for:
- Advanced Safety Gear: Providing every student with top-tier PPE, heat-resistant aprons, and face shields.
- Raw Materials: Stockpiling the high-carbon steels, alloys, and copper needed for student research and creative projects.
- Essential Consumables: Funding the constant supply of propane, specialized flux, and quenching oils required for safe and effective forging.
- Wear & Tear Items: Replacing the high-use items that take a beating grinding belts, wire brushes, and refractory bricks for the forge lining.

Let’s forge the future together. Help us turn this lab into a powerhouse of Lehigh innovation. LINK TO DONATE IS IN OUR BIO!

Giving Day + March Mania (March 24th–25th)

New season. New breakthroughs. 🌸🧪

There’s a specific kind of energy at Lehigh when the sun finally hits the UC front lawn and the hammocks come out. It’s the season of new beginnings—and for Lehigh Materials Science & Engineering, it’s the season to level up.

Next week (March 24th–25th), we’re diving into Giving Day + March Mania. 🦅
In MSE, we’re a tight-knit crew. We know that the strongest structures are built from the smallest foundations. Whether it’s funding a senior design project in Whitaker or helping a student get to a national conference, your support is the "catalyst" that makes it happen.

The Game Plan:
✅ March 24–25: Mark your calendars!
✅ Small Gifts still means Big Impact
✅ MSE Pride: Let’s show the rest of the P.C. Rossin College that we have the strongest bonds on campus. 💪

Let’s turn this spring energy into real-world impact. Are you in?
