Workforce Development at NCC Short term training opportunities to prepare students for a career in manufacturing

The Workforce Development department at Northampton Community College provides several short term training opportunities for students to learn skills to prepare them for high demand positions in a range of manufacturing and industrial settings. Our no cost programs feature courses designed to give you hands on experience in entry level Manufacturing and Industrial roles. Our courses are designed

to teach you foundational skills and offers you the opportunity to earn industry approved certifications and training! NCC students in the news! 🗞️ Last week, Governor Shapiro announced a $20 million investment from B. Braun that will expand medical device manufacturing in the Lehigh Valley, a project that will create at least 200 new full-time jobs.

Speaking at this announcement on Thursday was Tessa MacLean, a graduate of NCC’s Industrial Maintenance Technician program and current B. Braun employee.

Tessa is also one of five apprentices taking courses here at NCC through the iTEC education partnership.
