Another successful dissertation defense today!

Jessica Piazza successfully defended her dissertation entitled, Aspiring Supervisor Training: Implementing a Training Package to Instruct Evaluating Ethical Scenarios. Her committee was chaired by Associate Director Dr. Justin Leaf, and included Program Director Dr. Mary Jane Weiss, and Dr. Matthew Broadhead. Jessica examined the effectiveness of Behavioral Skills Training on teaching masters students how to successfully navigate ethical scenarios. This work has major implications for behavior analysts as they ensure to implement quality, humane, and ethical intervention to our consumers. We are very proud of Dr. Piazza’s work on this study and for all she has done at her time in Endicott.

Congratulations Dr. Piazza!!

Congratulations to Morgan Zukowski, '18, '19 for her acceptance to Endicott's Ed.D. program! A truly impressive teacher-leader and our first School of Education doctoral level Triple Gull 💚 💙

➡ A little about Morgan: "I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies/Education with a Concentration in Elementary Education Licensure from Endicott in May of 2018. Beginning in fall of 2018, I completed a fellowship in Marblehead, MA as an Applied Behavior Analysis Tutor, which led to my master's degree in Special Education - Moderate Disabilities from Endicott in May of 2019. In fall of 2019, I moved back to my hometown and began working as a first grade teacher in Pittsfield, MA, where I continue today. I am so excited to be coming back to my alma mater for a third time to complete my Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership. My grandfather was superintendent of our small school district in the Berkshires, and I am excited for the opportunity to follow in his footsteps!"
