This past week, Endicott College hosted Navigating AI @ Endicott, a four-day series exploring AI's role in higher education. Sessions ranged from “What Is AI?” to “Building Critical AI Literacy” and institutional problem-solving.

We also heard from students about where AI belongs at Endicott. As Chloe Walker ‘29 put it, “AI can be a tool that helps us further our learning.”

It’s a major week of learning, conversation, and innovation at Endicott College!
This week, two campus-wide event series bring our community together to discuss critical topics shaping business, society, and technology:
1. Navigating AI (Oct 5-8): a four day series diving into AI fluency, cognitive ethics, human centered, technology, and hands-on tools.
2. Spotlight on DEIB week (Oct 5-9): Hosted by the School of Social Sciences, Communications and Humanities, featuring open discussions, faculty presentations, and guest speakers on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Last Wednesday, we hosted our first Pop-Up Shop of the year with the Angle Center for Entrepreneurship! Thank you to everyone who came to support our student-run small businesses.

A warm scenic welcome for our new GSB family! ☀️
On Monday, we gathered at Misselwood for a special lunch bringing together both our Hospitality and our Events Management students for a warm welcome.

Hosted by Professor Blodgett, Professor Perry and Professor Richards. Plus Professor Totten and her students made an entrance straight from the classroom to the lunch!

This week, our 5th year MBA students got hands-on coaching from Don Black of Enterprise Mobility to build confident, genuine 30-second pitches. Instead of memorized scripts, students practiced real introductions, got live feedback, and learned how to network without the awkward small talk.

Prior to kicking off classes earlier this week, our Gerrish School of Business team gathered for our annual Adjunct Orientation to connect, align on the semester ahead, and celebrate the incredible educators supporting our students.

We were proud to spotlight long-tenured adjunct instructors like Cindy Foster (pictured here with Rebecca Doyon, our Sr. Academic Coordinator!), whose years of active industry experience enrich our curriculum and mentorship.

As we wrap up our very first week of classes, a big thank you to all of our full-time and adjunct faculty for making the start of the term a great one! 📸✨
