Okay, Bulldogs... this was pretty cool.

Stadium Hall is officially open!!!

We've been working toward this moment for a long time, and now we're just days away from welcoming the first 282 students who will call this place home.

They'll have a front-row seat to Top Taggart Field, but they'll also have something even more important: a place to make friends, build community and start their Ferris State journey.

And here's the really exciting part: this is just the beginning!!!

Welcome home, Bulldogs! Let's make some history!!!

It was (and always is!!!) a great day to be a BULLDOG!!!

It’s hard to believe we’re less than two weeks away from welcoming our Bulldogs back to campus.

This has been one of the busiest summers I can remember and one of the most memorable!!

There were family vacations, Ferris golf outings, the Harvard Seminar for New Presidents, a legislative luncheon, Ferris State night at the Tigers, and many conversations about the opportunities within higher education.

And perhaps the biggest highlight of all: celebrating our daughter Lydia and welcoming a new son-in-law to the family!!

Now, with less than two weeks until our Bulldogs return, I’m looking forward to seeing campus buzzing again.

Summer has been good. But I’m ready for fall!! Go Dawgs!!

On behalf of the entire Ferris State University family, we extend our deepest condolences to President Eisler, their family and all who had the privilege of knowing Patsy.

We are grateful for her many contributions to our university and will remember her legacy of service, generosity and care for others.

My heart and prayers go out to President Eisler and his family.
