History of BikeRMC

This project was originally created in 2011 by students in the environmental economics class and in the end failed. In the of Fall 2014, students in the same course wanted to revamp this project to see its success. Aspects of BikeRMC

BikeRMC is divided into groups in order to spread the work load among the students. The Research and Development Team are responsible for working with faculty on campus to construct bike shelters, improve current bike racks, and the rental program on campus. The Fundraising and Outreach Team have planned the unveiling event and worked on building relationships with staff/faculty on campus and organizations and businesses off campus. The Data Management Team was responsible for e-mailing out the survey to students and analyzing the data collected from the surveys. The Media Team was then responsible for updating the existing website and creating a social media platform for the project which include this page and an Instagram account.

Come on down to the Phillips 66 Community Picnic! Learn about stream erosion from Dr. Lucas Ward, do some networking, and learn about other great groups in the community. Free food provided by Fuddruckers!! Now until 7pm

Phase 1 has begun on establishing a native garden on the campus. The Environmental Club and Land Design INC went through designs for the garden. Water features, native plant regions, and social areas were discussed for the new garden. Exciting stuff! :)
