High Impact Practices, or HIPs, are defined as learning experiences students gains outside of the classroom. HIPs can include jobs, internships, studying abroad, doing research, or engaging in community services. Students who engage in HIPs while in college not only gain more experiences but are also shown to be more engaged and have higher rates of retention and graduation than their peers. So make sure to come to the HIPs fair this coming Monday, February 21st, from 3 PM to 6 PM, where we'll have numerous HIPs offices there, as well as a wide array of snacks, drinks, and prizes.
