From left to right, Kimberly Raymond and Danielle Julien presented a second poster at this years AAPA meetings. The data for this research was collected from their internships this past summer.
This research was conducted on two populations from Prehistoric Chile. The vertebral columns from 99 individuals were analyzed to understand the differences between agricultural and hunter-gatherer societies. Great work!

Masters students, (from left to right) Danielle Julien, Kimberly Raymond, and Brandon Wolfson, presented on their findings at the AAPA conference this year.
The second cervical vertebrae of 44 individuals were studied to determine the accuracy of the Wescott (2000) s*x estimation method on a middle aged to senescent population. This project was supported by an award from the National Institute of Justice.

We are pleased to announce our first, in a series of three, career development workshops for students in the Biomedical Anthropology program here at Binghamton University on April 5th at noon in RM 112. This workshop will focus on translating academic skills, gained in the program, into workplace skills which can be incorporated into more effective resumes and cover letters.
