Yesterday, our very own NYS University Police at Binghamton proudly participated in the 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) alongside numerous local, county, and state law enforcement agencies from across the Southern Tier.

The Torch Run is much more than a relay—it’s a powerful demonstration of support for the incredible athletes of the Special Olympics and the communities they inspire every day. Seeing members of the Binghamton University community come together with our local Southern Tier partners for such an important cause is always something special.

A huge thank you to all of the officers, athletes, volunteers, and supporters who made this event such a success. Together, we continue to build stronger connections, promote inclusion, and support the amazing mission of Special Olympics.
