Binghamton University Graduate Conference in Algebra and Topology - BUGCAT BUGCAT is a conference run by graduate students for graduate students held yearly at Binghamton University.

This year's conference will be held November 2-3, 2019 at Binghamton University. The keynote speakers are Dr. Matthias Beck from San Francisco State Universty, Dr. Marcelo Aguiar from Cornell University, and Dr. Jonathan Barmak from la Universidad de Buenos Aires.

We are happy to announce that the Binghamton University Graduate Combinatorics, Algebra and Topology Conference-BUGCAT 2022 will be conducted in person on November 5-6, 2022. Please be sure to register before October 18, if you are planning to attend. Graduate students of all levels and faculty are invited to register to give a 30 minute talk. Talks may be expository or on current research. The deadline for submitting a talk is October 18.

BREAKING NEWS: We have funding available for participants. We will provide lodging on a first-come-first-serve basis under the condition that they will stay at the hotel of our choosing with no exception (a Quality Inn near the campus) and they will share the room with one other person.

For participants who are giving a talk, we will also partially reimburse travel expenses.
