UAB Health Informatics Program The Source of Tomorrow's Healthcare IT Leaders Our faculty members are consistently recognized as leaders in health care IT practice, research and education.

Based on the needs of health care CIOs, UAB’s MSHI curriculum integrates the domains of information and communication technology, the health care delivery process and leadership and management principles. This collaborative approach to health care IT allows our graduates to understand the complexity of relationships that must be considered when making technology decisions within a care delivery or

ganization. Courses will be delivered by subject matter experts who bring relevant, real-world experience to each classroom.
