Bismarck State College Music Department

Bismarck State College Music Department The BSC Music Department offers a variety of introductory classes as well as many performance opportunities for community members and students of all ages.

The Bismarck State College Music Department trains students to become successful and productive performing musicians, teachers, and music industry professionals, giving them a thorough and comprehensive background in the art and practice of music. Students who complete the requirements earn an Associate in Arts degree and may transfer as a music major to a four-year college. BSC has cooperative agreements with Dickinson State University and Minot State University and several other four-year institutions that allow students to continue with and earn a bachelor's degree on the BSC campus. Those transferring to other institutions should consult the catalog of the transfer institution and modify BSC's suggested curriculum where necessary.

Ellie says music has always been a big part of her life, and we're glad she's continuing that tradition here at BSC!
