We are so proud of our graduate student Hermana, Eloina (Sthefany Camarena) who attended a conference in Richmond, Virginia, this past weekend!

As she pursues a career in public health and infectious diseases, she continues to represent the ambition and excellence of our precious and rare Hermandad.

Last weekend, our Alpha Omicron Chapter President, Andrea Funes Quinones (H. Zirconia) and Vice-President, Isabel Armstrong (H. Centella) attended Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Incorporada’s annual National Convention in CHICAGO!

Here are a few highlights from a weekend filled with Solidaridad, Inspiración, and Amistad. Being surrounded by Hermanas from across the country reminded us what Hermandad is all about!

One message shared throughout convention especially resonated with us: our Hermandad grows with us through every chapter of life.

We each joined for our own reasons, but we share a bond rooted in a sisterhood that lasts beyond our undergraduate years. As we grow, pursue new opportunities, and navigate life’s challenges, our Hermanas continue to stand beside us with encouragement, love, and open arms. That is the beauty of our precious and rare Hermandad!
