When the Virginia Eta chapter hosted our first car smash in 2015, we set a lofty goal of raising $1000 towards ALS research. When we hosted our first Phi Dye event in 2016, we upped the ante to $1500. Going into our 2nd Annual Phi Dye philanthropy, we decided to really set the bar high and hoped to raise more money this year than in this last two years combined, and we could not be more proud to announce that we have achieved this goal. Between the Brothers, participating organizations, friends and families who contributed to our efforts, we have raised over $2500 for the ALS Association. We are so thankful for everyone who contributed to this cause that is so important to our chapter and hope to see everyone again next year as we continue to grow our philanthropy and look towards a cure for ALS. Lastly, if anyone is still interested in contributing, our GoFundMe will remain open until the end of the semester (May 12th) and you can donate at this link: https://www.gofundme.com/phi-dye. Again, on behalf of both the active Brothers and alumni of Phi Delta Theta VA Eta, thank you for your support.
Final points for participating organizations were as follows:
1. Alpha Delta Pi - Virginia Tech - 9886
2. Kappa Kappa Gamma - 6848
3. Gamma Delta Sigma Virginia Tech - 4818
4. Alpha Omega Epsilon - Virginia Tech -3277
