More than 60 people joined us last week for an evening of networking, conversation, and connection.

A big thank you to Industry Advisory Board member Scott Hensley and his wife, Stacy, along with recent alumna Flory Brockwell, for coordinating the event, and to everyone who came out to spend the evening with us!

Learning doesn't stop when class ends.

Commercial real estate and building construction student Payson Kelley is spending time in BuildLAB designing and building a hand-carved guitar and custom furniture using professional-grade tools.

It's a great example of how Virginia Tech students gain hands-on experience while developing skills they'll carry into their future careers.

What began as an undergraduate research project on housing instability has grown into a published paper in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
