Next up, meet the man who needs no introduction, our lovely past president, Matt Terry! Matt is a driving positive energy that holds together our music ed community at Jacobs. He is serving his FOURTH year as a NAfME leader. Everybody say thankssss maaattttttt!

Today, we present everybody’s favorite current president, Sam Fultz! This is Sam’s 3rd year on the board and we are so grateful for the dedication and energy he brings to our community.

TOMORROW!! Come stop by the JSOM Involvement Fair between 2-4PM in MC 040 to visit our NAfME table and see what we’re about! Our board will be there to answer questions and help register new members!

Hello NAfME! We are excited to start our semester off with a masterclass entitled “Administrative Duties!” presented by IU bands Faculty Dr. Jason Nam. This masterclass will be a crash course on the following: appropriate trip administrative forms to know about before you start teaching, organizing chaperones, liability and responsibility while you are on the trip, organizing busses, etc. There will be time for questions, so this is also a great opportunity to have an open Q&A session with Dr. Nam, who is the instructor for administration of school bands and orchestras, on anything related to administration in your program. We hope to see you there!
