Bloomington’s official trick-or-treat hours are Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5:30–8:30 p.m.! Grab your costume, bring your flashlight, and let the candy quest begin!

Remember to stick to homes with porch lights on (no spooky surprises), rock some bright or reflective gear, and keep a flashlight or glow sticks handy. Little monsters under 12 should have a trusty adult sidekick, and everyone should keep their heads up when crossing streets.

Drivers, please slow down; there will be plenty of pedestrian traffic. Take extra time to look for children at intersections, on medians, on curbs, and behind landscaping.

Thank you for thinking of our crews!!

This week the Hudson Plumbing team rolled up to City of Bloomington, IN - Fire Department Station #1 with breakfast in hand, because that's just how HUDSON MAKES IT HAPPEN for the people who show up for us every day. Firefighters run toward the hard calls, so the least we can do is show up with some coffee and Chic-Fil-A. Grateful doesn't even cover it, and we're proud to call Bloomington's finest our neighbors.

Today, AC Daffron and Dep Fire Marshal Vrab visited the available fur babies at the City of Bloomington Animal Care and Control facility.

They played with several kittens, including Halibut (buff shorthair male, 9 weeks), Cuttle (gray long hair male, 10 weeks), and Puffer (gray long hair male, 10 weeks). These three are the bravest of their room and after only a little coaxing were purring happily while being held. They enjoy cuddling together in their cat tree and snacking on wet food throughout the day to sustain their energy.

And they played with Melody, a 12 week old chihuahua mix. She may be tiny, but she is bursting with confidence and personality! Her superpower is the Adorable Factor; anyone who lays eyes upon her is overcome by her cute face and squishy body. She is also skilled in Crumb Detection and Water Repellence (she loves snacks and despises the rain). She is entering her puppy shark phase, so be prepared to spend some money in the chew toy aisle to keep her occupied!

Be sure to make time and stop by... and fall in love...!! ❤️
