Our Dean Todd Shawver and Associate Dean Kenneth Hall accompanied students of the Bloomsburg Investment Group and Bloomsburg chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America, visiting to NYC to visit with Barron's and Dow Jones as part of the Barrons in Education program, sponsored by Commonwealth University - Bloomsburg Alumni Barbara Hudock of Hudock Capital Group LLC.

This experience provided our students with the opportunity to learn about Barron's and Dow Jones, and mentors with Barron's Associate Editor Allen Root. Thank you to Barron's Joseph Piombino and Lauren Rutkowski for assisting us in among this event possible!

The BU Professional Sales department has established a first-of-its-kind program with Paychex, a provider of human resource, payroll, and benefits outsourcing services, to guarantee paid internships for Professional Sales majors.

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania students majoring in professional sales and marketing will have access to a guaranteed paid internship with Paychex, Inc. starting in the Fall of 2022. Bloomsburg University is the first school that Paychex is partnering with for guaranteed paid internships.
