Hi, Bounders! We hope you're enjoying the last few weeks of the school year. For those of you looking ahead to the Summer Academy, here are a few updates.

First, we will be staying in Luzerne Hall this summer, rather than Lycoming. We did a walk-through of Luzerne, which is right across from North Hall, and it will work better for our group than Lycoming. Males will be housed on the first floor and females will be staying on the second floor. There are several common lounges throughout the building that students will be able to use during designated hours.

Second, and most importantly, this is the week when Summer Academy acceptances are scheduled to be sent. They'll be emailed to everyone sometime this week. We had more students apply to attend the Summer Academy than our limited federal funding can cover, so we may have to establish a waiting list and likely will not be able to accept everyone. We'll make a final announcement here and on Google Classroom when the notifications have been sent.

Now that Upward Bound’s after school meetings have wrapped up and the 2025-2026 school year comes to a close, we want to take this opportunity to thank each of the program’s site coordinators for their hard work and dedication over the past year.
