Our Upward Bound Summer Academy students will be leaving campus tomorrow afternoon around 3:15 pm for the extended holiday weekend. (No classes or events will be held on the Juneteenth holiday on Friday.) Here is a list of approximate times when students will be dropped off at their home schools. Students should return to Luzerne Hall on Sunday evening between 7 and 9 p.m. (between 7 and 8 is strongly recommended).

Summer Academy Bounders:

Check in for this year's Summer Academy takes place THIS SUNDAY, June 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the main lobby of Luzerne Hall. Please plan to arrive after 1 p.m. but before 2:30 to allow enough time to complete the check in process.

During check in you will receive your key card, and you are your family members will be able to borrow a bin to move your belongings to the building.

On Sunday there will be a MANDATORY student and family meeting beginning at 3:30 in the Auditorium in Hartline, where important updates will be shared. Afterwards, students and families are welcome to return to Luzerne until 5 p.m. when students will go to dinner with their RM teams. Other events will take place that evening.

Don't forget to bring your Permission to Ride form, which you received with your acceptance letter.

A campus map with directions to Luzerne Hall is attached.

We can't wait to see all of you on Sunday!

One more Summer Academy announcement while we're at it. 😎 Students might want to bring a refillable water bottle to use throughout the day. There are drinking fountains with bottle fillers on each floor in Luzerne.
